Former student begins London Marathon training
Eleanor Vines, who completed Year 13 at St Clement Danes this summer, has begun training for the Virgin London Marathon on the 23rd of April 2017, whilst raising funds for the British Heart Foundation. In 2014, during her GCSEs, she was diagnosed with a degenerative heart condition. This news came as a bit of a shock, especially as it was a condition that is usually picked up in infancy. British Heart Foundation helped her a lot to adjust to her diagnosis. Because of this, she decided to use the opportunity to try and give a little back to the foundation through running the marathon in aid of them.
Eleanor would really appreciate any support. More details about how to donate can be found here. We wish her all the best with her training.
