St Clement Danes Student Golf Open

Recently 14 students took part in the inaugural St Clement Danes Student Golf Open. Students from across Years 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 made up a competitive field. The outright winner was Adam Ward with an incredible 3 under par gross score of 65. Adam's name will forever be etched in history as the first winner of the student open Claret jug! Other impressive performances came from Connor Scott, who shot a level par score, and Rio Saigal with a 3 over par, 71. There were some other very good net scores as well with Dan McGee coming in 15 shots under his handicap! Congratulations to all students that took part in a really successful day.

The students had a fantastic day and a big thank you must go to Chartridge Park golf club for hosting us and to Steve Collier for helping out on the day.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years. Adopted industry models like the Double Diamond Design Process and Scrum-based project sprints to enhance student learning. Established workshops with industry professionals to inspire students, especially girls, to pursue design careers. Key Takeaways for Educators Adapt curriculum to student needs and school culture.
