Great result at Hertfordshire Schools Combined Events Championships

Well done to following students who took part in Hertfordshire Schools Combined Events Championships on May 2^nd which was held at Ridlins Athletics Track, Stevenage. Year 8 student, Matilda, Year 9 students, Marcus, Kenan, Mac, Luca, Scarlett and Sabrina and Year 10 student Grace all performed extremely well and were a credit to the school. The students performed in 5 events across the day including hurdles, shot put, high jump, javelin, 200 metres race, long jump and they all finished with the 800 meters race.

The team achieved excellent results with Scarlett achieving 3^rd place overall, Grace and Kenan achieving 2^nd place overall and the Year 9 boys team achieving 3^rd place overall. The individual students will go through to the next combined events championships to represent Hertfordshire. Well done – a fantastic result!
