Summer sports teams for Year 7 announced!

At the start of a new term, Year 7s experienced a number of changes, such as the new polo shirts and the increased area of the school grounds where the teachers permit the students to eat their lunch. However, the most intriguing of all the new announcements was the summer sports teams. As many Year 7s had not known there were going to be more teams this term, many students were eager to try out for them. The summer teams included a tennis team, a cricket team, a rounders team and a team for all athletic events. The teams compete in separate gender leagues offering all sorts of opportunities to the applicants. The training sessions started on Tuesday 17th April and will end at the beginning of the term. The majority of the teams' training sessions take place during lunch times throughout the week. There really is a team for everyone with about 30 new teams in the spotlight; we hope that the Year 7s will enjoy the summer teams as much as all the past years have.
