Year 8 and 10 Sports Leaders assist with Primary Schools' Festivals

St Clement Danes School have hosted two primary festivals this term for the school's partnership schools - Maple Cross JMI School, The Russell School, Sarratt Church of England Primary School, Chorleywood Primary School and Christ Church C of E School.  The first event, assisted by Year 10 Sports Leaders, was 'Tri Golf' which took place in September. More recently, the 'Year 5 Fun Run' was held on Chorleywood Common, and Year 8 Sports Leaders assisted with this event.

PE Teacher Mr Conway said 'Both festivals have been fantastically successful; a big thanks to our outstanding sports leaders who lead the events so well, and are a credit to the school.' 

Well done to the PE department and all of our Sports Leaders for their commitment to these events. The school looks forward to welcoming students and staff from the primary schools for further festivals during the remainder of this academic year.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years.
