Summer Cycling Success: Felix Boda Completes 46-Mile Challenge for PANS PANDAS UK
Over the summer holidays, pupil Felix B took on an extraordinary personal challenge, cycling 46 miles across Anglesey to raise vital funds for PANS PANDAS UK, a charity close to his family's heart that supports children living with the condition, including Felix's younger brother.
Felix’s journey into cycling started following a Year 7 parents' evening, where Mr. Conway encouraged him to find a regular fitness activity that suited him outside of traditional team sports like football or rugby. Inspired by the encouragement, Felix threw himself into training. Throughout the summer term, he cycled alongside a neighbour before school every morning to build up his endurance and prepare for the road ahead.
All the early mornings paid off in spectacular fashion. Felix successfully completed the challenging 46-mile route across Wales, and thanks to his immense effort and the support of donors, he has raised over £8,000 for PANS PANDAS UK, while developing a lasting love for the sport.
The entire school community is hugely proud of Felix for his dedication, kindness and incredible accomplishment.
