14th JulyYear 10 Geography fieldwork success
Our Year 10 Geography pupils had a fantastic couple of days out in the field on June 18th and 19th, putting their classroom learning into practice. For their first trip, pupils headed to the River Chess for an immersive study of river characteristics and flood risks. It was a brilliant blend of hard work and fun, with pupils getting right into the water in their wellies—leading to at least one memorable moment of tipping an entire boot's worth of river water back out!
The fieldwork continued the following day in Milton Keynes, where pupils conducted a comprehensive quality of life survey across three different locations. The pupils were absolute credits to the school, showing exemplary behaviour as they executed their surveys and questionnaires with members of the public. After a busy morning of data collection, everyone thoroughly enjoyed a well-deserved lunch break at the large MK shopping centre. Thank you to all the pupils for their excellent effort and enthusiasm over both days!
