Matilda - School production

The Drama Department has been rehearsing for the eagerly awaited whole school production 'Matilda'. The performance showcases talent from across all year groups, with over 100 students involved as performers, dancers, sound and lighting crew, backstage crew, costume, hair & make-up designers or as the business team who are advertising and organising the programme and ticket sales. It really has been a mammoth effort from students and staff and we are so pleased to announce that tickets will shortly be on sale. It is a split cast with Ellen M in Year 8 starring as Matilda for 2 performances and Ava K in Year 7 starring in the other two performances. The show opens on 4th March for a matinee invited audience only, followed by 5th, 6th & 7th March at 7pm in the Barbirolli Hall. We look forward to welcoming you all to what will undoubtedly be one of the highlights in the SCD calendar this year.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years.
