Design Museum Trip

The Design Museum trip was a very enriching experience. The workshop offered, allowed the children to practically respond to a brief and learn all the stages of a design process in a practical way. The workshop enforced what we are teaching in school and the pupils realised what we had been explaining but saw how it was done practically. The sessions were led by designers in industry and they showed us past winners of the Design Ventura competition and which gave us insight to what Design Ventura judges are looking for. We got some positive feedback from the pupils and I think it opened their minds to possibilities in the wider world for ideas they can come up with.
