Open Day Event 2022

On Saturday 24th September St Clement Danes held their Open event with a Secondary Transfer 2023 Open Morning and a Sixth Form Open Afternoon. It was wonderful to see so many prospective students and parents attend. Mr Sutherland, Headteacher, gave a warm welcome at the three Headteacher’s speeches which took place throughout the morning.

We are extremely proud of our students who were impeccably behaved and showcased the school at its best.

Overall the event was deemed a huge success with many positive comments received from all those who attended. We would like to thank all our staff and students who helped and participated in the day.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years. It discusses how Mr Hadley and Miss Yalley took ownership of the subject, implementing a new subject ethos based on trust, excellence, respect, and safety to foster student responsibility and independence. Adopted industry models like the Double Diamond Design Process and Scrum-based project sprints to enhance student learning.
