Speech Day 2022

On Friday 16^th September St Clement Danes held their annual Speech Day for the first time in three years. We were delighted to have guest speakers Mr Terry James, Chair of Governors, and Mr Richard Walton, Trustee of Mission Employable attend for the Junior and Senior Prize giving ceremonies.

The event opened with a minute’s silence to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II followed by the Orchestra playing the Imperial March and a warm welcome by Mr James. Mr Sutherland, Headteacher, touched upon the perseverance of the students over the past year in overcoming so many difficult personal and professional challenges.

After the prize giving event, a Vote of Thanks was delivered by Head Girl, Simran Lily Mudhar and Head Boy, Marcus Ashby.

It was lovely to see students, parents and staff attend after what has been an unprecedented period of time. Our thanks to everyone involved in making the day such a huge success.
