World Book Day Winners 2022

Thank you to everyone who took part in the LRC activities celebrating World Book Day earlier this month, especially all the staff and students who ‘Dropped Everything and Read’ during form time and to everyone who entered the LRC competitions.

Other exciting events on the day included a lunchtime book quiz, a scavenger hunt at break and short film clips shown in the Seminar Room which the students all seemed to enjoy.

Congratulations to the World Book Day Winners who are:

Arjav and Sharvarish (Year 9) who identified ‘Who Was Reading’ and filled in the ‘Missing Words’ from book titles at break time.
Alia, Lara, Sophia, Anya and Hettie (Year 7), who successfully tracked down teachers wearing book badges in the Scavenger Hunt throughout the day.
Final World Book Day 2022 congratulations go to Emma S, Tabi P, Rosie H, Naisha K. Miya T, Harmani T, Rania M, Katie L, Katherine W. and Ashmita K (Year 8) who demonstrated a wide range of book knowledge in the Big Book Quiz at lunchtime.
