Work Begins on the 3G Pitch

After 3 years at St Clement Danes, (and 15 years for those involved at Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club, the CCYFC), we are pleased to announce that work began on the 25th January 2021 on our new 3G pitch. There has been a degree of “never-ending shade” regarding whether we could provide the full size floodlit 3G pitch for both, the students of St Clement Danes School and the wider Chorleywood Community, but we are delighted that construction has now begun and is estimated to take 15 weeks to complete. 

The school has worked in partnership with the Premier League, the Football Association (FA) Facilities Fund, the Holborn Estate Charity, the Anchor Fund, the Parents’ Association and CCYFC to fund and realise this opportunity for students at St Clement Danes and those in the wider community for years to come. We will continue to communicate further details with you and those who will benefit from the new facility in due course.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years.
