French language students make delicious Easter treats!

On Tuesday 7th April the Modern Foreign Languages faculty had a lot of fun using the Food Technology rooms for a morning of shopping and cooking, all conducted in French!  Madame Massé set up a shop where the students 'bought' the ingredients necessary for making crepes, pain perdu (French toast) and chocolat chaud. Students, Madame Massé and Madame Fern then set about making crepes on a special flat cooking plate, followed by pain perdu and chocolat chaud.  The end results were delicious, and when Assistant Headteacher Mr Harris tasted some samples, he agreed that they were indeed délicieux!
