Winter Market

Well done to St Clement Danes Parents’ Association who raised £4700 at the 'Winter Market', which was held in the Barbirolli Hall on Saturday 16th November. This very popular annual event was packed with stall holders and customers, who took the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts at the wide array of stalls at the market. Over 60 stallholders showcased their exciting range of products, which included jewellery, crafts, food, local gin and beer distillery products, beauty products, and a vast selection of fabulous gifts. The market was a great success thanks to the hard work and commitment of the Parents’ Association members, and the support of the students, staff and parents who very generously donated raffle prizes, baked delicious cakes for the cafe, and who most importantly attended the event !  

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event so successful and raising much appreciated funds for the students at St Clement Danes School.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years. Adopted industry models like the Double Diamond Design Process and Scrum-based project sprints to enhance student learning. Established workshops with industry professionals to inspire students, especially girls, to pursue design careers. Key Takeaways for Educators Adapt curriculum to student needs and school culture.
