Year 10 Rugby team go through to next round of National Vase

The Year 10 Rugby team made it through to Round 4 of the National Vase with a fantastic victory over a very organised St Benedict's team. In cold and wet conditions, the game struggled for any fluency but was packed full of brave tackling. St Benedict's went into half time just 3 - 0 up after a late penalty. Danes came out in the second half with great intent and scored a great team try in the corner to go 5 - 3 up. Despite facing a number of late penalties, the team defended superbly, and survived 4 missed kicks at goal to come out winners. Their team spirit was mightily impressive and we hope for more of the same in the next round v Grey Court School next week. Try scorer, Robbie was also player of the match.
