SCD students perform Shakespeare at Watersmeet Theatre

On Wednesday 7^th November, St Clement Danes students performed ‘As You Like It’ as part of this year’s Shakespeare School Festival as Watersmeet Theatre. The annual festival is the Shakespeare Schools’ Foundation’s flagship project and the world’s largest youth drama festival. The students were outstanding and received praise for their comic, lively and engaging performance. It was so lovely to share the experience with other local schools and there was such a warm and supportive atmosphere on the night. As one of the students said, ‘It was an amazing experience to perform Shakespeare on a professional stage.’ We’d all like to thank the PTA again for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
