Students at SCD twin with French students in Dardilly

St Clement Danes School's French department is working with the Twinning association in Chorleywood to create links with a secondary school near Chorleywood's twin town in France. Head of French  Mademoiselle Masse was invited on the Twinning trip to Dardilly,France, and visited St Joseph’s School, Tassin La Demi Lune. Mademoiselle Masse met the head teacher, staff and students at St Joseph's, and gave a presentation to the school about St Clement Danes School.

Year 9 students sent two hundred letters to students at the Dardilly school, and have just received the first batch of return letters today. It is hoped that a future exchange can be arranged between students from both schools, and that students' families will form links with the community as part of the ongoing twinning relationship between both towns.
