Brilliant performance by BBC Young Musician 2018 finalist

Congratulations to Year 10 student Alex Pullen who gave a breath-taking performance in the percussion category final of the BBC Young Musician 2018 at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, which was televised on BBC Four on Friday 13th April. Alex performed superbly throughout the various stages of the competition, culminating in his selection for the finals.

Alex attends the Junior Royal of Academy of Music, and is also a member of both the Buckinghamshire County Youth Orchestra and the Buckinghamshire County Wind Ensemble. In 2017 Alex was runner up in the International Percussion Youth Competition held in Belgium.
